1. 2 lbs. cooked ground beef
2. 46 oz.can tomato juice
3. 29 oz. tomato sauce
4.15 oz.can kidney beans-drain
5.15 oz. can pinto beans--drain
6.1/2 cups chopped onion
7.1/4 chopped bell pepper
8.salt and pepper to taste
9.1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
10.1/2 teaspoon black pepper
11. 1 teaspoon salt
12. 1/2 teaspoon dried cumin
13. 1/4 cup chili powder
I simmer this for about 90 minutes with a lid,on med-low heat------best if left over night and served the next day------------
we serve with corn chips in it,topped with shredded cheese-----------also good with corn bread in it in place of the corn chips
