Well once again I can say I have trained a little one to potty in one week, going all by him self,Brayden has been out sick,so today made him a week here for me to work with,I have him going just great,he is so proud of him self,I have not had to tell him once to go try to potty,he has just took off alone and did it------This is the chair I used---Simple Potty,it comes in pink and blue and is just what it says, simple;no bells or whistles here, the little one just walks up on it and sets down,no cracks for pee pee to get out of and if they for get to hold the pee-pee down it will catch it,no mess. I have had an older child try it out just to test that. It stood the test when a 4 year old when and pee-pee on it. It takes a long time for a little one to be able to get up on an adult tolet alone and, then they have to always remember to hold the pee-pee down. (they want)So if you need a chair that they can use alone and you do not have to go with them every time they make a bath room trip-this is the potty for you,I do not have time to run to the bath room each time one needs to go with a house full of little ones who potty here, Claire used this alone here and she loved it,she pulls her pants up when done. I just check when she comes to me to see if I need to straighten the wast band. This potty cost $7.00 plus $4.00 for shipping and tax and comes in blue & pink. I ordered it online after doing research on potty chairs that work best.I will say I have tried several and none have did close to as well as this simple potty chair and the right chair I think is 75% of the task.
http://www.babymallonline.com/ carries this chair-I have not found it in any stories,I have not checked with babies-R-us,it is made by Nutria, you may recognise that name as they make a line of feeding cups and bottles. So if you are thinking it should be time my child can go alone to the bath room-They just may need a chair they can use alone! This is also light and can be took to granny's when they stay over there. All one piece makes it easy to clean too.
Who says boy's don't train as fast as girls! I see no difference.
