what a fun week-in

Southland Greyhound park-------we had a great week-in---We slept in Saturday morning and my friend Sonya Jerrett droped by because I'd ask her to so I could give her money for sponsoring Leyah Jarrett in a Miss Arkansas Beauty Pageant coming up in Nov. in Bentonville Arkansas----Leyah is a child I got here when she was 2 years old and now she is 7 years old and has already won several pageant's,she won at Ind. county fair this year,she won Little Miss Batesville,she won Miss Cave city Little Miss Seed (at the cave City Watermelon fest) and more that I do not know the names of,she is going for Little Miss Arkansas in November. Leyah has talent and is as cute as as she can be.I call Leyah and her brother Ajay my step grand- children,they are like family to us.

After we got around Sat. morning we went to eat at the new Asian Restaurant here in town(love it)--we headed out of town and went to Memphis to watch the greyhounds race at Southland greyhound park
I love to watch the dogs race,Bill had never been and he won his first bet when he picked his first dog to win,IT WON-wow! There was 18 races,we watched several but only bet on a few,it was 12 midnight when they was finished,we did go into the casino part and play roulette some,never won big but had fun,we stayed over night at a hotel across from the track,got up and ate at a wonderful Mexican restaurant close by,then headed back to play roulette some more,we had fun as we got to play a long time,again we did not win big but had a lot of fun,we thought about Beale St. coming home but decided to just head home and rest,we had a wonderful afternoon home relaxing in our hot tub sipping on a cold drinks. This past Wed. was our Anniversary and since it was the middle of the week(Sept.21th),we only went out to eat which was Nice but the week-in we celebrated.
