Starting the New Year

My husband and I had been so excited about our New Years Eve plans and as my husband said "it was the best night" this year was the first year my husband was off both New years Eve and New Years Day with-out having to use a vacation day.We checked into our room around 4:00pm and went to eat and did some mall shopping,we had a wonderful night of dancing and toasted to the new year with wishes of good health and Lot's of laughter in 2011.

We got home around 3:00pm and took a long nap On New Years Day,then got up relaxed watched some TV -then we cooked us a home cooked meal of black eyed peas,greens,corn bread,ham,and baked potatoes,after dinner we got into the hot-tub and talked about 2010 the good and the bad (was not to much bad and lot's of good to remember)and toasted once again to the New Year 2011

Today I have my grand children Jadelyn & Madelyn,I was brave and took them BOTH to wal-mart at the same time,they had X-Mas money to spend and they went shopping,we was in wal-mart what seemed like 2 hours,I got more Christmas bows and wrapping paper at 75% off and lots of X-mas bags at 75% off along with two more x-Mas gifts at 50% off for next year---then we went to McDonald's and ate.The girls did good for us to have been in Wal-Mart's so long,Jadelyn had a hard time making up her mind but,she did find her some cute things as did Madelyn(Madelyn she was done in half the time) I think I am kind of like Jadelyn,it takes me so long I'd rather go along shopping as not to make any one wait on me.
