Going into my week-in

I had a great week-in----This was the start of it-----Friday I put in a long day that went into a long night,but a fun one, I got up at 6:30am ,poured myself a cup of coffee (oh how I love my first cup)had my alone time reading -meditations and putting God first. Around 7:30-7:45 the children start coming, I always look forward to hearing their week-in stories,They usually watch cartoons until they all are here,which is always by 8:30. Then we turn off the TV. and share our week-in stories before heading to the kitchen to eat breakfast (I get that ready as they watch their morning cartoons) The youngest ones go to the play room for about 30 minutes while I work on breakfast.some times the youngest go back to bed for a short nap and wake up about the time the rest are done in the kitchen.Then while the older children either color or play, I get to spend time with the youngest ones feeding them and playing with them awhile. We had a good day here Friday----Reece talked a lot about his up coming birthday party,which was later that night. I was excited for him. After my day ended here with the children,I picked up some then got ready to go to that party too. I loved the party,watching all the children there have so much fun did my heart good. they were 4 there that I take care of,and two that I call my step grand children. Ajay & Leyah, it was good to see them. I took care of both them for a few years(Ajay was 2 months old when I got him and Leyah barely two).Now they are both in school.
After the party I ran my son David Shannon to wal-mart to get his grocery shopping done,David was doing so good,he has been for awhile now and oh how that did my heart good too. After I took him home I went and picked up my grand daughter Madelyn,her sister got to sleepy while waiting on David to get his groceries(which he was in wal-mart longer then usual)so Jadelyn stayed home and me and Madelyn got back here about 9:30. We popped corn and settled in to watch a movie.We watched one of Madelyn's favorite "Fat Albert" also a favorite of mine. she stayed awake through it all and she and I both went to sleep about 11:30pm.----- 6:30am until 9:30pm made me a long day,I was ready to relax and watch a movie. I am use to having long days,but most end by 7:30-8:00 at the latest.
After a good nights sleep we woke up around 9:00am Sat. morning. Bill had a long night at work and he was in the back room snuggled in sleeping,he got up about 11:30am. right before Madelyn and I left to head for the post office to mail a package off. Madelyn insisted on carrying the box in,looked like I was breaking child labor laws,as the box looked heavy but was not to bad. Madelyn looked so big carrying that box in.She gave it to the lady and said "here you go mam" She is growing up to fast,Madelyn is 7 now. We came back here and ate lunch,about the time Madelyn finished up, her dad was here to pick her up in his new truck-Madelyn loved that, I love his new 4 door truck too.I know with all the camping that family will be doing this year they needed it. I was so happy they got it,and they also got several thousand more for their car then a offer they had gotten a few months earlier. Turns out my son knows how to talk the talk when it comes to auto trades.He ended up with a super deal. I was so proud for them. Yep my son Tony is So much like me, love it. Tony and his wife want buy any thing that is not a super deal---They are wise there---Yep they know what they are doing and do well.
