A day at the races

So Friday was our big day at the races----Here is Bill going to place a bet on our picks for the next race---below

Us waiting on our dinner in the Jockey Club -we could watch the race out our windows or on our table TV. Our waitress took our picture.

The cake was wonderful, in the back ground-Bill going to place another bet-in the Jockey Club the men must have on their jacket before leaving the table-you will be told this if you forget---Bill got scolded once-lol----
"No tennis shoes or jeans allowed by men or woman-there is a dress code in the Jockey Club" In the bathroom there is some one to hand you a towel to dry your hands.At the Elevators there is a man who rides with you and welcomes one when they step on. They wish you luck when you get off and tell you to enjoy your day.

Below sand from the track on my shoes-how many folks get to go out on the track! We did-the sand does not just fall off,it has clay mixed in it and it sticks good to shoes.

We had a great time----Bill won $200 bucks off $5.00 but that was in a slot machine on their money the $5.00 free play-that was cool. we did not spend over $20.00 on slots and $10.00 was on them,so we was happy-we got a free meal too and did not have to pay to get in.
